To earn this award clubs must complete five vocational service literacy projects.
The club can apply by submitting a written list of the projects completed. Clubs are encouraged to add short descriptions of any projects on the list for which a description would help the rest of the district understand what was done. FOLLOWING IS A SUGGESTIVE LIST OF PROJECTS WHICH WOULD QUALIFY FOR THIS AWARD. IF YOUR CLUB CONDUCTS OTHER PROJECTS WITH A VOCATIONAL SERVICE ASPECT, LIST THOSE ALSO.,
A. In the club
1. Display 4-Way Test at weekly meetings
2. Involve members in repeating the 4-Way Test at weekly meeting
3. Display the OBJECT OF ROTARY at weekly meetings
4. Involve members in paying attention to or being reminded of the OBJECT OF ROTARY
5. Display one or both mottos at weekly meeting
6. Involve members paying attention to or being reminded of one or both mottos
7. Devote a portion of a club meeting to the Rotary Code of Conduct or make members aware of it in other ways
8. Conduct classification talks by members and/or guest speakers
9. Present weekly speakers and/or guests with a gift that includes the Four-Way Test

1. Recognize vocational service role models in the community – Educator, small business person, corporate leader, not-for-profit leader, government leader
2. Publicize 4-Way Test, Object of Rotary, Rotary mottos at recognition events
3. Create public awareness of 4-Way Test in public venues ( e.g. billboards, public park sign or monument, newspaper advertisement, etc.)
